At CS-1 Transportation Inc., we hold a deep appreciation for our role in the community and are wholeheartedly committed to making a meaningful difference. Each month, we contribute $1 for every transaction to a charity chosen by our dedicated teams, reflecting our shared commitment to social responsibility.

This month, our Management and Administrative team has chosen to support “Halton Women’s Place.”

Since its inception in Milton in October 1980, Halton Women’s Place has been a beacon of hope and safety, providing refuge to over 500 women and children in its first two years alone, while also handling more than 700 crisis calls.

In response to growing needs, a second shelter was established in Burlington in January 1994, which has been a vital resource, operating at near capacity and moreover addressing over 2500 crisis calls annually.

Serving the Halton Region community, including Burlington, Milton, Halton Hills, and Oakville in Ontario, Canada.

Halton Women’s Place is a truly remarkable organization. It is dedicated to offering a safe haven and crisis services for women and their dependent children. A sanctuary for those who have endured physical, emotional, financial, and sexual abuse. The organization provides not only a secure environment but also essential information and education, empowering women and their children. This support allows them to envision and achieve a future filled with hope and free from abuse.
