Since CS-1 Transportation opened for business in 2008, we have found different ways to give back to the community. From corporate philanthropy to community volunteering, CS-1 Transportation believes in social responsibility. Since 2017, we have proudly donated $1 from every CS-1 Transportation transaction to charities across North America.
2023 Monthly Donations
Every month we randomly choose a department within the Company to select a charity for donation.
In April, our Management team selected Ride or Stride for Claudio
CS-1 Transportation is a proud supporter of the Ride or Stride for Claudio, a fundraiser event that raises money for the SickKids Lymphoma Research Fund. This fund supports the Division of Haematology/Oncology at Toronto’s SickKids Hospital, one of the largest divisions in the Department of Paediatrics focused on understanding how this disease develops, progresses, is diagnosed and ultimately how to treat and care for children with this cancer.
Since its inception, ROSFC has raised and donated over $52,000 to this fund.
The ROSFC fundraiser was started in 2019 by the Franzini family in memory of their brother Claudio who passed away of Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma in 2018 at the age of 56. Claudio enjoyed participating in fundraising events, loved riding his motorcycle and lived to spend time with family and friends, so this was the perfect way to bring people together to celebrate his memory in an impactful way.
Hosted in September, Lymphoma Awareness Month, the ROSFC offers participants a choice from either a 5km walk or an 80km motorcycle ride. Once riders and striders return, everyone stays to enjoy an afternoon of food, music, games, and giveaways. This family-friendly event has a little something for everyone and is a great way to get out to support a fantastic cause.
