Business Development

We seek a driven and dynamic individual to bolster our Business Development clientele. As the face of our company, your commitment to devising and implementing a potent sales strategy is vital.

Our objective is to enhance sustainable financial progress by amplifying sales and establishing robust partnerships with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Formulate a strategy prioritizing financial growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Research new markets and customer needs to assess their potential
  • Arranging business meetings with potential and current clients using relationship-based methods.
  • Promote and demonstrates the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
  • Conducts telephone calls and in-person visits, presenting to existing and prospective clientele
  • Prepares clear and effectively written proposals/quotations for clientele (new and present)
  • Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
  • Establishes and nurtures long-term relationships with new and existing customers in the assigned territory.
  • Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
  • Develops and oversees a customer value strategy for current clients, showcasing profile, share, and potential value.
  • Identifies advantages and compares organization’s products/services.
  • Plans and organizes personal sales strategy by maximizing the Return on Time Investment for the territory/segment.
  • Provides management with reports on customer needs, issues, interests, competitors, and new product or service possibilities.
  • Stays updated on product usage, technical services, market trends, competition, and promotional strategies
  • Participates in trade shows and conventions.
  • Enters/dispatches/traces all orders for commissioned accounts

Requirements and skills

  • Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role
  • Proven sales track record
  • Experience in customer support is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
  • Proficiency in English
  • Market knowledge
  • Communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build rapport
  • Time management and planning skills
  • BSc/BA in business administration, sales or relevant field preferred

Within Canada; GTA and surrounding areas  

Reporting

Reports directly to the General Manager

Pay Range

$60,000 – $65,000 annually (plus commission)

$1 from every CS-1 Transportation transaction is donated to charities across North America.
