CS-1 is proud to be celebrating 10 Years

CS-1 Transportation is proud to be celebrating 10 years in the transportation industry. In October 2008, Steve Cooper, General Manager of CS-1, started CS-1 Transportation believing customer service, customer satisfaction, and communication, were all undervalued assets in the freight brokerage industry. The vision for CS-1 Transportation was to provide the highest level of customer service in the transportation industry. So firm was Steve’s belief that customer service was a key differentiator customers would appreciate, that he named the company Customer Service First Transportation, CS-1 for short. CS-1 also represented other guiding principles that have shaped the company today – Customer Service, Customer Satisfaction, Communication, Common Sense, Critical Solution, Cargo Solutions, and Call Steve 1st amongst them.

“Our core belief is in the power of customer service first which has led us to a decade of successful, ongoing relationships with our customers and vendors.” says Steve. “CS-1 Transportation’s continued growth is due to a number of factors, but our foundation in customer service and our focus on delighting customers during each transaction, is the #1 reason we are here today. In today’s automated world, our customers appreciate the ease of one on one communication and the attention to details.”

A decade later, CS-1 Transportation has 2 offices in North America; one in Burlington, Ontario, and a second office in Chandler, Arizona. CS-1 Transportation has an exceptional staff of over 30 employees (22 in Operations, 4 in Accounting, and 6 in Sales).  CS-1 Transportation has been twice named a Profit Fast 50 company and twice a Profit Growth 500 company, and has been a finalist for Business of the Year for the City of Burlington’s Chamber of Commerce. Steve wanted to conclude with one message:

“ Thanks, we want to thank our valued customers, supply partners, and staff for your continued support that has allowed us to continue to grow.”
