At Smilezone, they are passionate about bringing smiles to every child, no matter what challenges they’re facing. It is a local charity for children where in just one weekend, their team turns ordinary waiting or treatment rooms into bright and cheerful Smilezones! These special spaces create a warm, welcoming, and interactive environment for children and their families while they’re in hospitals or medical facilities.
Each Smilezone is carefully designed with fresh paint, playful murals, comfy and accessible furniture, custom cabinetry and storage, sensory items, and fun interactive technology like iPads, TVs, and GestureTek gaming. They work hand-in-hand with healthcare staff to make each space unique—guaranteed to lift spirits and put a smile on every child’s face.
Since their very first project in 2013, they’ve created over 500 Smilezones, and the Smilezone Foundation family keeps growing—right along with their positive impact!
